4 month update
Logan had his 4 month check up at the doctor on Monday. He weighs 15 lbs 11oz and is 25 1/2 inches long. He was in the 90th percentile for both length and weight but has moved down to the 70th percentile. His head is almost 17 inches!
Mackenzie was there for moral support. Her turn on Monday.

Sunny Afternoons
Someone was trying to hide...
I think I know who was behind this...

I made Mackenzie a hooded towel out of a regular bath towel and a hand towel.
Here she is modeling it for me.

We went to Monkey Buziness. It is a place that just has bounce houses and climbing areas. She had a blast. At one point she was just running up and down the room screaming. They also have a little toddler area but she had no interest in that. It wore me her out.

Coming soon- Logan's four month update(if he will cooperate for a picture) and Mackenzie's 2nd birthday!
We had the stroller in the living room for cleaning. Apparently it is a great place to relax and read a book, it even has storage.
I blame Monkey Buziness...
We went to a friend's house for a birthday party (our friend turned 40 and they rented a bounce house)

Fourth of July
We had a ton of fun on the fourth. We got up and had blueberry pancakes. Then headed off for the parade in downtown Boise. I don't know if Mackenzie was quite sure of what was going on.
Here I am with both of the kids. Logan doesn't seem to like the sling as much as Mackenzie did. He gets mad when he can't stretch out his legs.
Ahhh....Free from the sling.
Once the parade started Mackenzie was into it. At first she sat quietly, like she usually does in a new situation.
Even Logan enjoyed some of the parade.
After awhile Mackenzie got into it. She was waving,
and shouting,
and clapping to the music. This group even took a picture of her, they know a cute kid when they see one.
We went home for lunch, which included blueberries, raspberries, and special red, white, and blue candy. Everyone took a nap and it was an afternoon as usual. We debated about doing fireworks all day and had decided that it would be best to skip them this year seeing how it doesn't get dark until after 10. As the night went on and neighbors were playing with their fireworks, the dogs were going crazy, and Mackenzie continued to stay awake playing in her crib we thought why not. So we loaded a sleeping Logan (who amazingly sleep through it all and the transfer back into bed) and a confused Mackenzie into the car and headed out. The firework display is not too far but just far enough so we can't see them from the house. We parked in a parking lot that had just one other family in it and that had a clear view of the fireworks. Mackenzie enjoyed them and wasn't the slightest bit scared by the noise. The other family were also setting off there own and those were fun to watch as well. We left the house in a rush to catch the fireworks that I forgot my camera boo :( All in all it was a great holiday!
