Muffin Tin Monday: Pumpkins

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

Here is pumpkin happy.

Here is pumpkin sad.

Now you see him sleepy.

Now you see him mad.

This is pumpkin in pieces small,

But in a pie he is best of all.

Happy- a larger cracker/bread thing cut with a pumpkin cookie cutter with hummus on top
Sad-squash-cut then cooked in the microwave
Sleepy-biscuit stuffed with ham and cheese, drawn on with edible markers
Mad-Laughing Cow cheese with face cut into the wax coating. I wasn't planning on using this but when I picked them up at the store I thought it would be perfect for the angry pumpkin.
Pieces- orange pieces and pumpkin seeds
Pie- well this part was planned for me :)

There are many different variations of this poem. So far we have done farmer, apple, and scarecrow but there is also snowman, gingerbread man, tree, valentine, and bears. Princess really likes reading them because they all follow the same pattern. I get a lot of the poems from here.

A pumpkin patch bento

A bento inspired by pumpkins! At the top is cheese and bologna pumpkins, cucumber leaves, and a biscuit pumpkin (the face was drawn on with edible markers). The bottom houses oranges and a pear with a moon fruit leather. Looking at it now I should have turned it so the moon was on the top.
