Meeting Santa

Added: We saw Santa again and I got a picture of Logan with him. I don't care that he is crying, every kid deserves to have a picture crying with Santa.

We waited in line for 2 hours! When we finally got to Santa Mackenzie went right up, Logan started screaming, Santa insisted I sit with Logan, I insisted Robert then get in the picture, needless to say the picture didn't turn out really well. Mackenzie proceeded to tell him what she wanted for Christmas (and what Logan wanted since he wouldn't go near Santa again.)

On the way out I asked someone to snap a picture of the four of us. It turned out much better than the Santa one (which we then lost while getting hot cocoa.)

Getting Ready for Christmas

Fun in the sun snow

We had a "blizzard" last week and ventured out for our first play in the snow. Mackenzie got all suited up. Logan was not as lucky. We haven't bought snow boots for him yet so he was in Mackenzie's old pink, sparkley boots and I couldn't find the hood of his jacket anywhere so he ended up with one of mine on.

He didn't let that stop him though...

I showed Mackenzie how to make snow angels and she did fabulously!

Logan thought it looked like a good idea but once he got on the ground he had a change of heart. He moved one arm and flung a ton of snow onto his face thus ending our snow adventures for the day.

Then it was back inside for some hot chocolate. Now I am off to shovel the driveway!

Thanksgiving

This year I had two little helpers for Thanksgiving. We watched Snoopy, Spiderman and Santa in the parade. They helped me make pie.

Then they had a yummy Thanksgiving day lunch followed by naps.

For dinner they ate turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, and (most importantly) cranberry sauce. MMMMM how they loved the cranberry sauce.
